Description
Thymosin Alpha 1 Overview
Thymosin Alpha 1 (Tα1) is a naturally occurring 28-amino-acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue. It acts as an immunomodulator that influences signaling dynamics, cytokine expression and immune pathway homeostasis.
Tα1 has been studied for its role in thymocyte signaling, immune pathway differentiation and the regulation of innate and adaptive responses. Through toll-like receptor (TLR) pathway activation, it has been investigated in research models of thymocyte dynamics, dendritic signaling, natural killer pathway activity and multi-system immune responses.
